Intense garnet-colored wine, with complex and defined aromas where ripe red fruits and small wild berries predominate, along with balsamic notes, some dark chocolate, spices, and tobacco leaf. On the palate, it presents broad and structured tannins, fine and well-present, lively acidity, and enormous freshness. The finish is remarkably balanced between the altitude's freshness and the persistence provided by the polished tannins.
It pairs well with wood-fired dishes and traditional meat dishes from Alentejo cuisine.

The story
This location and its mesoclimate provide an unequalled terroir that you can taste in the wine. But to produce nothing less than great wines, this terroir must be matched by our obsession. This obsession to create something unique drives the producer to make no concessions in the vineyards to achieve the highest quality grapes possible. To do so, they drastically reduce production. More than 70% of the grape clusters are removed shortly after véraison so that those remaining gain additional structure and quality.
Red wine fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled French oak casks from Seguin Moreau cooperage. Barrels for maturation are only used for three years. The technical winemaking team is headed by the owner, João Lourenço.
