The Viña Asomante is produced from the balanced blend between Tempranillo and Mazuelo grape varieties, and only in extremely high-quality vintage years.
After 36 months in stainless steel vats, 48 months in used barrels, and 18 months in new American oak barrels, it presents a dark ruby colour with brick red reflections. With a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, and a sensational aftertaste, its powerful and balanced structure ensures great longevity.

The story
Luis Marín Díez founded his company in 1970 to continue a family tradition in the wine sector, passed down from father to son for several generations. Initially focused on wine bottling and distribution services, it was in 1991 that Luis Marín invested in his second winery, located in the heart of La Rioja, and began producing wines that, to this day, maintain the character of small-scale and artisanal production.
